I decided to head up to Jay for the weekend for my last lift serviced skiing of the year. I pull into the lot, park next to a guy in a VW wagon. We start chit chatting while getting our stuff together. I tell him I thought about sleeping in my car the night before. He says, "Do you post on Alpinezone?". It was tmcc71, he saw that I posted that I might do just that in a reply to a thread he started. What are the freakin odds of that? If I had parked anywhere else, we wouldn't have met. Later we stopped and talked to a guy and told him the story, wouldn't you know, Shredder of gnar, also a member of this forum. To top it off, I shared a chair with a guy who saw my Greek Peak season pass and said, "Greek Peak season pass, huh." I said, "Yeah, nothing to be proud of." Turns out he lives five miles away from me, 350 miles from Jay. What a small freakin world. I'll post a report with pics tomorrow, I'm spent.
