Freeskiing is ACTUALLY the skiing you do when you're NOT in some sort of organized competition, training, race course, mogul course, or terrain park. If you think it adequately describes new school freestyle, or extreme skiing - you're a moron.

Some areas offer free skiing on closing day. Lot's of free skiers come out of the woodwork on those days.

The word freeskiing has only been useful to me for finding something to watch in my TV Guide.

That's not what skiing is about. Skiing is about yolo swag.

We may need to define freeskiing because it has evolved so much in recent years.Yesterday skiers were doing twister spread eagles, cossacks and backscratchers.
Those were the dark days, the non-creative days when going on a board ruled the
mountain.


In 2014, with the evolution of the so called new-school skiing and the acceptance of
the freeskiing disciplines into the Olympics, we have entered a completely new era.
Today skiing is about the switch and nothing but the switch.


No other definition necessary.
