so my best friends wife calls me today and says she wants to "plan a 3 day weekend for just the guys" as part of her xmas present to him....This is great news, cause now I get the excuse for the guys weekend, as, it wasn't my idea :) Now I'm kind of torn on where to go/stay....There will probably be 4-6 of us, or so...I don't wanna break the bank, but I don't want roaches in the pillow cases either. Hotel/motel/private home/condo...it doesn't really matter.

We are all in our late 20's....(meaning after skiing all day, we'll be drinking all night...preferably at a bar and not the room) so I'd like to take that into effect.....I don't wanna do NH as we've all done it too much....so it's VT or ME. Suggestions, tips would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking Killington....mainly for the apres.....but would rather go to Sugarbush, Stowe or the Loaf....wherever we go, there's gotta be some nightlife, cause really that's part of what "guys weekend" will be about;)

What would you do?

As a fellow member of the late 20's crowd I have had some of my best ski-all-day, drink-all-night weekends at the loaf. Just start with the pbr pounders at the rack. Killington is the best choice for variety but it sounds like you guys will have fun anywhere you go and that wife of yours sounds like a keeper.

Quebec city - ski mont ste anne and Le massif, stay in the city or condo at mont ste anne, if you google ski packages in quebec you can get the web site that will get you package deals

The decripion of what you are looking for is Killington. Good skiing best nightlife

I smell a rat .. I would be suspicious here .. trying to get him out of the house for the long weekend with the boys ploy...

LOL, hey...it's his wife, not mine ;)

I belong to TGR also....but I figured I'd see what you guys thought, rather than post this there and get 45655321 dumb replies, before any actual suggestions.

Of the choices you gave this would be my sugestion. Stowe will provide the best skiing and decent apre ski----Kmart, well, apre ski it is and skiing ok. If you haven't been to Stowe it's worth the trip. Place is a great place to ski/ride.
