Hey, with all the warm weather, then rain, then freeze, I stayed home

So...what was it really like at Hunter last Sat and/or Sunday

P.S. They blocked the zone at the orifice

Damn

Saturday...4 at the top, calm, lots and lots of snowmaking CLIFF!!! (great) all around conditions good!!
Sunday...warmer 20-25 WINDY, blew the snow off the top conditions fair (they shut down the quad and the "f" around 1) Lines at the triple weren't to long. IKE was the one!!!!!!!! Tons of fresh pow!!! trees held it in place. restarted the quad/F around 2:30 but we stayed on IKE!!

It was quite good where they had made snow and where the snow accumulated after being blown and scraped off of the exposed areas. It was pretty horrendous everywhere else.

All that said, the weekend was a great example of Hunter's greatest strength--if it is cold enough to make snow, it will have at least some amount of enjoyable terrain available. In this case, Cliff and Racers/Ike were great despite the ice storm, high winds, and weekend crowds.
