...GET OUT NOW!!!!!!! THE SKIING AND RIDING IS AMAZING!!!!

Now back to the regularly scheduled Trailboss Ski Programming from BURKE MOUNTAIN.

I have been out 9 days. 4 of which were at Stowe! I have to say, it was some of the BEST skiing of my life!
If you haven't eaten some powder yet, then you haven't been trying!!!!

Been out of it for two weeks recuperating from a back injury.:(

But hopefully I'll be getting out there next weekend.

I'm hearing a lot of people, including myself and Trekchick mention this is some of the best skiing of our lives. It's really true. Imagine, just a month ago we were whining. What a difference 3-4 feet of fluff makes.

In fact, I have NEVER skied so much before January 1st. I'm lovin every minute, but I am neglecting my family duties. They get me back when it sniar. I hope there will be some time to get an xmas present :)

Is VT really THAT amazing right now, or do you mean the best December skiing of your lives? I've had that this month, but nothing yet to compare to later season dumps of yore. Nothing yet to compare to last April, for that matter. Hopefully the next 24 hours aren't too destructive and we can return to killer conditions before long.

For me, it's expression of my lifetime personal experiences, not the ski season at large, and not just December. I have missed on on some truly epic years, and last April, because, unfortunately, life gets in the way.

Having said that, I'd say this is one of the best Decembers on record, at least in my lifetime.

At Mt Snow last weekend, I skiid the woods in the Trials on the North Face... pole deep powder... not a scratch to be heard... I'd call that pretty amazing, December or any time.

Let's put it this way...when Burke opened two weeks ago, we had skiing on almost every trail and glade. I went glade skiing on December 9th and it was better than it was February 2007. I skied two runs today that had the best cover I have seen on them. Should we be debating if this is the best ever? Hell no. Get out and ski it...'cause it's pretty damn good in my book.

The 1995-1996 season and the 2000-2001 season where just as good, but this year is very impressive still the same.

I was just referring to my area in the poconos. I have never gone multiple times before dec 3rd before. The snow has been icy enough that everything is fast. Not bad if you're by yourself just trying to get a couple of hours of good ski time in.

Twice in the last four days! Guy at Waterville said that Thursday (when I was there) was better than the entire previous year!
