When Jeb jumped off of Table Mountain, he sure as hell wasn't planning to hit one of its outcrops at full speed. Sadly, on the way down his foot clipped a rock whilst he was traveling at 120mph.

So what are these video-corders set up visually on that particular rock outcropping in advance? Doesn't look like accident to me....glad the dude is alive, but....think he was out to get himself Youtube-famous.........y/n?

They station people along the route down- note the balloonsmarking the route. I don't think anyone intends to hit a rock at 120 MPH.

Apparently the guy was chronically depressed with a death wish he wanted to put to good use as a daredevil which inadvertently sparked his lust for life. He was on abc Nightline this evening, said he thought he was dead, no way would he survive that impact, then half of his brain said why bother you're dead, the other half pulled the chute.

Sure looked like the safer route to get a shot would've been to the right between the outcroppings...for some video...

NO WAY! Jebb has MANY videos of hime doing this, he is just an adrenalin(sp) junkie looking for the next BIG RUSH! Youtube search "Grinding the Crack" he gets SUPER close in that one too but pulls away a-ok!
