That is an incredibly cool idea! Good way to escape the holiday crowds, too. Magic is going to be pretty low traffic even during the holidays.

Might I suggest opening your blog to comments?

I tried and the spammers attacked. I have to delete 100's that get through a week. Any suggestions? I am running a basic wordpress template.

I wish the cool Idea was mine, Magic's Management has some great things planned for this season!

That's a fantastic way to get a new batch of customers out on the mtn. Really a no brainer as a customer. It is worthy of a little ad space in the travel section of the big city newspapers. I would buy it if I was East this winter. Best of luck.....

This. It comes as a standard plugin for WP right out of the box. You just have to activate it. I might get 1 spam a month. I setup WP so I need to approve any users' first comment and then they can comment at any time. This keeps the blog spam free and I rarely have to monitor the spam.

Another option is to install Disqus comment systems, also free, and integrates very nicely with various social networks. I switched to that on most of my WP sites.

Bigbob is a sleuth. Thanks. The opportunity to make a real difference in something I believe in rather than explain on behalf of a large corporation is one that I was not sure if I would ever get in skiing. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. I never use caps.
