If you were going to get a midweek pass at Hunter or Windham, where would you get it and why? Assume that price is not an issue.

And please don't answer "Plattekill". I've been there. It's good, but it's far and, more importantly, they don't offer a midweek pass because they don't open midweek (except the day after a 12 inch plus dump). Not interested in Belleayre either, as I skied there way too much last season.

Hunter without question! The trails at Windham all feel the same. Hunter has much steeper and more fun trails. I ski Windham once a year, and only because there is a company ski day there...

Go with Hunter

I'm gonna quote x10003q from another thread on this:

I think Hunter has great terrain and the addition of the HSQ on West will help spread out the weekend crowds. Midweek Hunter is a dream. Windham has a wide choice of terrain and great lifts. I do not ski there as much as I used to because of Hunter's midweek greatness and Plattekill's lack of weekend crowds.

+1 For hunter. You have to travel a long way from the NYC area to do better than Hunter on a Tuesday.

Windham's lifts are incredibly slow. Hunter will now have 2 high speed lifts (6pack & quad on westside). You will spend half your day riding lifts at Windham.
