You, too, can look like a Steamboat Resort employee for the low price of $129.99. I am honestly surprised that Marmot and Alterra let these go to a retailer. I would think that having people wear these skiing would really confuse guests. That is still the case even if the uniforms have changed. And as much as I am a ski nerd, I would never wear something like this to recreational ski.

I looked again and sure enough, Sierra actually has surplus "Ski Patrol" jackets for sale. I saw this in the past and was really surprised that they have no issue selling one of these to any Tom, Dick, or Sally who may not be patrollers.

Alterra has gone to The North Face and Helly Hansen across its resorts so these are probably a previous generation uniform.

Best we ever had for shells and full jackets was Mountain Hardware, a NH company
SR predominantly used LL Bean, and Nike's ACG (All Climate Gear) line.

It was based out of Newmarket NH in their early 91-92 days.

Soooo…Cumming and Dad were early investors in Mountain Hardwear. Not exactly the founders listed on the site, but John considers himself as one.

They cashed out and “bro-ed down” though (using South Park terms).
