Park Poles

Hi all,

Im starting to hit up the park more and more. Does everyone use the same length poles for the rest of the mountain? I know some people dont use poles in the park but I prefer to at this point. I use 120cm poles so ive thought of going a little shorter or perhaps adjustable?

I can't answer as I'm not really at home in the park but I would guess in the park poles are more for balance and momentum than planting and pushing , I.e. length wouldn't matter too much. I could be totally wrong.

I'm curious now and I'll try some goooooogling tomorrow

Ive tried a run without poles. No go, I definitely want them. I guess until I have a problem using the correct length I will stick with them. They havent gotten in the way yet.

Use Black Diamond poles that adjust. That is what my son uses.

Yea, I saw some nice K2's the other day that were also adjustable.
