just pulled the trigger on a pair of liberty double helix's. i hope i didnt just jinx myself...

Nice!

Don't know much about that model or Liberty skis in general. Dimensions? Turn Radius? Get a good deal from a place where some other folks might be able to pick up a pair?

I wouldn't worry about a jinx. Back in 2000-2001 I was living in Stowe. A buddy was a rep for Rossi. They had a crap load of 1998 Rossi Axioms that were 110 underfoot. No one bought them when they were introduced as that was an obscenely wide ski back at that time. Shaped skis were barely getting going, never mind powder boards. Everyone in town bought them. He sold 200+ pairs at $150 a pop. If you can remember, 2000-2001 was pretty much the best natural snow season VT has ever seen. Jay got 570 inches that season. In Stowe I know it was north of 350.

i remember that winter well. we are due for another winter like that!!
a few of my friends ski on liberty and rave about them. 190cm, bamboo core, 121 waist, stealth rocker... more of a western resort ski (i have 2 trips planned this year) but ill use them on east coast powder days also.
