Can you believe it? This guy went to Yale and averaged only a 76 over his 4 years. He had 4 D's in his freshman year alone. And this lazy guy should be president?

Of course I'm talking about John Kerry, who averaged 76 compared to Bush's 77 (ok, so they were both lazy, but Kerry is in a serious glass house when it comes to critisizing past school history.)

At least he's not a total *******...

But apparently Americans feel comfortable with people that can't speak these days...

Begs the question...what are the folks who earned A's doing? Most of them are in business...what does this say about civil service?

This week's New Yorker reproduces a document that George W. Bush wasn't eager to have published: his Yale transcript, which includes his SAT scores (566 verbal, 640 math) and college grades (C average). One doesn't want to read too much into someone's 35-year-old academic records, which in this case are mainly interesting as a reminder of how powerful the Ivy League's affirmative-action program for alumni brats used to be. But the data do tend to substantiate what many have gleaned from listening to the Republican front-runner abuse the English language: The sharpest tool in the shed he ain't.

Lol, reading the title I read "Presidential Grades" as "Steepness of the Whites"... I guess I thought this was a hiking forum or something ;)

most people think neither were fit to be president. the college grades have confirmed it! let's base our next president on ivy league GPA!

It scares me that people want a president who's like them. I, for one, want my President to be smarter than me, better educated than me, and better looking than me (that last one's not going to happen). I don't want someone who's plain-spoken. I don't want someone who's "salt of the earth". I certainly don't want someone who can't (or won't) pronounce "nuclear" correctly.
