Skier's Forums

AZ, SnowJournal, Epic, SkiMRV, a couple of snowcat related forums, skilifts.org, occasionally I drop in at Snowheads, and I read FTO and have posted once or twice.

Oh, and then there's this place called www.mogulskiing.net. I hang out there. Well, I run the thing, so I guess I have to! It's not that active, but there are tons of great people there, and a plethora of valuable info.

AZ is the only board I'm a member of but I also lurk at SR's boards, SL's boards, and Epic.

I post here and KZ (I teach Brit week at K) and lurk around at many of the others.

I used to be a supporter and very active at Epic-Ski (even attended one of their academies) when they were a good forum and allowed discussion betwen opposing/dissenting views. Two years ago they were taken over by a bunch of busy boddies that have no life outside of editing and deleting posts. These few mods now control who can sit at the cool kids table in the sophmore lunch room. They should change the name to Gapic-Snobs.

who are the mods you speak of so I know to steer clear of them? I post there from time to time

It is a very cliquish group so if you post there you know who lives there (and has no life outside).

Actually I remember giving Greg a hard time a few years back when he came into the SR board to promote AZ. Oops my bad :oops::oops:

Bastid! ;) Too bad the older posts are all gone. That would have been funny to read.

I found out about AZ because Greg came to the PASR site and promoted AZ..

Ha! You keep saying that. I came to PASR to see if anyone there had any info on the Denton 66 degree trail of doom. A bunch of PASRers got all whiny and defensive.

That was before my time...you were also on PASR this past summer with a link to mogul skiing at Hunter..and there aren't many mogul skiers on PASR...mostly racers and jibhonks..

I guess I was just trying to provide some interesting content... ;)

HAHA I'm an a-hole but at least I can admit it :) I tried to find the old posts but it looks like they were purdged from the site. My bad coach:dunce:

I mostly post at SkiMRV, where I live, until I develop a real life. :spin:

I also post here, and that is it for skiing forums. I checked out the Kzone, but there was too much garbage. I haven't even checked out any of the other skiing boards.

I have three general interest boards and 2-5 specific interest boards and sometimes I even go outside. :-P
