Skiing with a smartwatch?

Anyone do it? Seems like it would be really useful for texting to people, etc. without having to dig out the phone.

Some newer ones like the Huawei watch you can even voice call from directly which seems like it would be awesome from the lift instead of taking out a phone.

I use my Apple watch, it's so much easier than digging for my phone and taking the chance of dropping on the lift ride.
