From their snow report...

The winter got off to a very slow start, but - WOW has it changed now. It started snowing Wednesday morning and when all was said and done we received 27" of lake effect snow. The powder hounds will be in their glory today! The skiing and riding have been outstanding, so they will only be better - if that is possible. If you haven't been here yet, you don't know what you're missing.

But.....we need a major

earthquake (where no one it hurt, of course) to increase the Ridge's vertical to 2500 feet and tilt it to 35-45 degrees.

On some big dump days at the ridge, you need to push and push and push until you're 1/3 of the way down just to start moving without help from your own muscles !

Fond thoughts about SR. Hoping the new owners will make it a point to clear the grown in glades and think about terrain expansion within the boundries.....ie make new glades, too. Then you can claim the east's heaviest snowfall.....and interesting (if short) terrain.
