Thanksgiving 2011

Hoping S doesn't kick me in the nuts for dawn patrolling when we are hosting. :D Skiing tomorrow and Thursday as well, ahhhh left overs. And the TDay leftovers are pretty good too!

Dinner w/ the family in NH, a mountain bike ride or two and possibly some skiing.

My wife and I were really looking forward to skiing this weekend Friday-Sunday. We have a place at Mount Snow. But the weather is iffy at best. Most likely no skiing unless the weather changes fast and it stays cold enoguh to make snow. Most likely now that won't happen.

So it looks like we'll be staying home in CT and doing some more road biking. It's supposed to be 55 to 60 degrees and sunny in CT Friday and Saturday, ridiculous.
I really WANT to put my bike away for the season!

Turkey and fixins at my aunts. Not sure about plans for the rest of the weekend.

No ones going shopping to fight the crowds?

We're going to dinner at my sister's house. My family should be there, along with her in-laws.

Then on Friday my wife is making another turkey dinner just for the 4 of us, mostly so she can have plenty of left-overs....

Turkey dinner with the family (4 generations) Thurs. This will be the 1st year my wife & I aren't hosting the get together in 20 years. Don't have to travel far since my brother who is hosting lives 1 mile away. Should make for a more relaxing day for us. Might do a little striped bass fishing either Fri. or Sat. Will be at Macy's Herald Square early Sun. in time for opening to knock off a big chunk of Christmas shopping. We've been doing this for years because the stores are empty Sun. morning, parking is easy & you don't have to feed the meters. When the crowds start arriving around noon we'll be long gone.
