The slides are open

Hey guys... Just saw on Whiteface's facebook page that Slide 4 is open to small groups as conditions permit... I know everyone on here is interested in that. So if you are local and you can get over there before 2:30 you might want to do so.... Does anyone think I can get up here from NYC in the next 1.5 hours???

Was a total surprise to see them open today. A bunch of us went down Slide #3. Conditions weren't that great because of a crusty layer from the recent mixed precip. Was going to take another run hoping that the skier traffic had broken things up, but they had already closed them.

They must be skiing nicely today with all that new snow! Get in there while you can... ski for $38 tomorrow.
