Does anybody know the whole story behind the ski area on Greylock that was never completed? I have read several reports about the place, including the NELSAP version. However I can’t seem to find anything on what happened to stop the completion. They seemed to gotten quite a lot accomplished before it went bust. They had towers up for one lift and footings poured for two others, some snowmaking lines in place, a base lodge started, and probably a lot more. So why did the plug get pulled?
