See update on A-Lift The fixed grip triple chair lift to summit next to the high speed quad is working just fine. Its not too much of an impact.

Since the Village of Windham was devastated by hurricane Irene, this was not something the community needed during the busiest weeks of the ski season.

Last I heard nobody in New York skis anymore because of all of those tax hikes coming from a state run area bleeding money for 10 years.

Now for everybody else - The word is that it threw a gear box. Could be up in a day or two or it could be longer.

You can believe this. Windham was calling other resorts with the similar gearboxes looking for parts.

If it could have been running, they would have been running it. It's a serious mechanical issue. They wouldn't take their main lift out of commission during the holiday week and doing serious work if they didn't have to.
