docs appointment today gave me the green light for march, woot. not completely unexpected but still encouraging and put a smile on my face. i have recovered full flexion in my right arm and am down to 18 degrees on my extension. gonna be a slow and painful struggle for the last 18 degrees and i might only get 10 more in the near future, but i am essentially fully functional already which is amazing progress only 8 weeks after the surgery.
working on building back up all the muscle that has atrophied while my arm was not mobile. i can curl four pounds, w00t! 8) triceps and shoulder muscles were both obliterated from lack of use, but everyday i am getting more and more functionality. reaching overhead still is painful due to lack of muscle, but we are getting there.
uncle just offered me a trip out to copper mountain, CO with him and some of his buds in march. one of their friends bailed, money already deposited. i just need to buy the plane ticket and i'll be out west for the first time. this could be perfect timing, hopefully the date will be okay at work too.
