re: Skiing Singles...HEH!! I saw that link too. Too funny.

SO here's the stupidist thing I've done lately. The pool was about to overflow with all this rain, so I drop a hose in to syphon some water out.....and I forgot about it...for a long time.

*sigh*

So I hope it rains just a bit more to give me back a couple of inches....of water.

If you want we could throw a kegger and help you fill it back up...

If it is like this for the next three months you better make sure you homeowner's insurance covers mudslides and maybe consider flood insurance.
that's why i live on a hill :-P

HEY! No pee-ing in the pool!

Haha, perhaps then, you should invest in one of those signs for you pool area that says "I don't swim in your toilet, so please don't pee in my pool."

I would love it if it were this temperature all summer - just with far less rain.

Actually...one of the reasons I like living in the Northeast is the four seasons. I like my cold winters with snow...cool springs with rain...HOT summers...and cool dry falls with great color.

To every season la la la *smirk*

June...50F...cold rain....hmmmm.......does not compute.

I got home to a huge puddle under a window yesterday. I could hear water dripping inside the wall. I think perhaps the woman who lives upstairs (who I think is of the 47 cats variety) may have left her window open.

I'm up for the poolside kegger, thoug I can't guarantee not warming the water up a couple of degrees locally.

"I, I didn't notice anything..."

Is it really too much to ask for a nice day to go biking? I haven't been mountain biking in almost a month because as soon as the trails are almost dry it rains again

I whent biking today in my local trail. Lots of fun. Muddy but fun., The wet roots add all more the challenge. I tend to like either dry trails or wet trails! Biking is biking. Its one of my favorite sports.

Even if it is fun, you are causing irreversible damage to the trails. Call me crazy, but I actually care about the trails and would rather skip a few weeks of biking than kill the trail.

1-2 more inches of rain thru Saturday. Possible sun on Sunday. Another crap weekend - this weather blows.......
Take a trip to Long Island...I think the weather is good for the weekend and we have a ton of Links courses to play on.

That would be great. Meet me at the Orient Point ferry terminal and I'll buy......

Played 9 holes in the rain last weekend upstate in Schenectady, first I've played in a month. Stupid weather.......

Bitch and moan about the weather...oh boy! I'm hearing it all day at work too, especially from the "I hate Winter" crowd. Well tough toenails! Too much complaining.

Me, I'll be up at 4:30am tomorrow for a morning lake trout fishing expedition. The weather is perfect; fish don't mind the rain at all. Wind might be an issue, but the fish don't care about that either and that's what anchors are for anyway.

Hoping to land a 15+ pounder!

If anything, I found that fish like rain. Good luck!

this afternoon at work, i decided to flip the tables on everyone complaining about the weather by stating that "i am actually starting to get used to it, it's not that bad!" interesting observation jim, that so many of the complainers also are the winter weather complainers as well.
